"Mysterious"

Here's an 8x8 oil on panel, inspired by my trips to Tuscany. Partly from imagination, this and the others in this series are meant to represent more of the feeling of a place than an actual place. These are begun by rolling paint onto the smooth wood panel and using the result as a jumping-off point for the somewhat dark, mysterious painting.
