Late Fall in New England

Heading home one late November afternoon, I bit the bullet and got out of the warm car to absorb this scene and plan how I'd paint it. It took me a couple of months but I have said what I wanted to say. Chilly here in Massachusetts, but there's an appeal to the limited palette of bare trees and gray skies. Enjoy!
