Back to France!

I've been awarded a two-week Artist-in-Residency at Chateau d'Orquevaux, this June. An exciting opportunity to create without interruption or distraction. It looks amazing, doesn't it! Totally in line with my love of landscape and old buildings!

New exhibit! Worcester, MA

8 Visions Exhibit

This Tuesday, August 6, marks the opening of the "8 Visions" juried exhibit at the Attleboro (MA) Arts Museum. Opening reception with artist remarks begins at 6:30PM. Please stop in at 86 Park Street to see the work of these eight artists. The show runs through September 6, 2019.

This painting, part of this exciting show, is now in a private collection, but my recent trip to Paris brought it to mind again.

Here's the end product of my recent demo at the Northborough (MA) Art Guild. What a great audience! I had a lot of fun doing this, especially/despite not knowing exactly what the painting would look like.

City of Dreams - a work in progress

I have a few favorite cities around the world, and Florence is at the top of the list. This building stands tall near the river Arno, and is one we passed on our daily walk last Spring.
A work in progress, but only another 15 minutes of loose brushwork to go.

Chill!

After a mixed-review vacation that included both robbery and mild illness, I had to work on something that asked nothing of me. This chill piece was already ¾ completed and I knew where I wanted to go with it.
